Meet Rev. Louise

Gender Grief Guide - Minister - Thanatologist

Hello! I'm Rev. Louise.
My pronouns are she/her/hers.
And my mission is to provide compassionate guidance and loving support to those facing difficult life transitions, wrestling with profound questions, coping with loss, or experiencing grief. I provide a safe and supportive space so that you can explore your feelings, connect with your inner wisdom, and find your way forward with courage and resilience.

My Journey

When I reached my 50's, I decided - for the first time in many years - to take a deep breath and reset the purpose of my life. I executed a professional pivot away from a 30-year career in finance and focused my attention on supporting those experiencing loss and serving those exploring spirituality.

I have studied in many programs, trained in many modalities and learned much about how we react to life and loss. I’ve gained an academic perspective by earning an M.Sc. in Thanatology, strengthened my spiritual grounding with ordination as an Interfaith/ Interspiritual Minister, and softened my heart by becoming a certified Death Doula, Grief Educator, Bereavement Counselor, and Hospice Chaplain. And I've broadened how I can provide healing and support by training in Grief Movement ®, Vortex Healing ®, Shamanic Reiki, Sound healing and Oracle Card reading.

Along the way, I discovered so many paths to being of service. I love tending to all those in grief but supporting those coping with changes in gender identity is a particular passion. I have studied the intersection of gender and grief in great depth and relish helping others navigate this journey with grace.

In whatever way you feel challenged right now, please know that understanding, acceptance, and love await you.

I can't wait to connect!
